As soon as you book a full package with me as your doula, I begin my services to you. Have a question about your pregnancy? I’m there to answer it. Want reliable resources on a topic to make an informed decision? I’ll provide you with them. I will check in with you regularly to stay up to date with your pregnancy and provide emotional and educational support.
As you near 28 weeks gestation, I will meet with you and your birth partner to create your birth plan. We will go over many different care options from before labor begins to after your sweet baby has arrived. I will provide you with information and resources so that you can walk into your birth feeling informed and inspired.
Next, we will meet for a labor and birth education course as you near 34 weeks gestation. This is when we complete activities to simulate labor pains, practice counter-pressure and pain management positions, and go over each step of labor and birth so you know what your body will do and why. During this meeting, I go over many different pain management techniques, most notably teaching you how to relax during contractions which has many benefits.
After that, we wait for labor to begin! I take special care to create a cozy and inviting birth space for you, whether that be at a hospital, birth center, or home.

My doula bag is filled with flameless candles, fairy lights, birth affirmation cards, and more! I can also bring aromatherapy and music to help create a calming birth environment. Gotta keep that oxytocin flowing!
I will provide you with emotional and physical support as you labor, offering counter-pressure, natural pain management, laboring positions, distraction, and relaxation techniques. If something should arise and a decision needs to be made, I will provide you with resources to make an informed decision. My goal is to serve you and help you advocate for your family as your baby is born.
Once you’re home with that snuggly, little babe, I will set up a Meal Train for you to share with friends and family and plan our postpartum visit. This visit can be the day you return from the hospital, a week, or even a month after your bundle of joy is here! This 90-minute visit is focused on how I can best serve you and your new family. Need someone to wash the dishes or prep dinner? Or maybe hold the baby while you take an uninterrupted shower and nap? I’m here to make your transition back to “real life” as easy as possible. Additional postpartum visits can be scheduled at a discounted rate.
